Plex Library no longer detecting changes?

I renamed a ton files in hopes it will finally match however I've noticed that since the initial scan of my library (which took 12 hours) two things have started happening:

1. Changes aren't being detected
2. Metadata updates aren't happening

I'm not sure where the logs are yet so I haven't looked at 'em but has anybody encountered this?

Log location are posted on Plex website. Google search will get you it pretty easily. I have not had that issue myself.

The Plex wiki and forums are a good start.

If the library files are mounted remotely via a share then automatic changes are not likely to be triggered.  You can setup periodic scans on the server.

There have been problems with theTVDB site for the last few weeks causing outages in their metadata API, this could be on going and more noticeable if you are doing a full library rebuild. They seem to be aggressively throttling lookups.

Ahh that's probably it because it looks like movies and music are fine just the TV shows!

The music matching works a lot better I have to say, really impressed so far.

ALSO I reorganized a ton of files making it easier to match things (thank you bulk file renamer tool thing)

The Plex premium  agent uses gracenote and signature so yes it is much better than name only matching.
