A blast from Mario's past!?

Now if they release this at the same time as a Samurai Pizza Cats DVD collection I'll be in REAL financial straits. It seems that a lot more cartoons are being released to DVD that would have been previously passed over. For example you can now get Rock & Rule on DVD.

Could the re-release of the Mario/Zelda cartoons be ushered in by the popular re-releases of the Nintendo Classics line for Gameboy Advance? Is it because fans of the shows are a hulking throng who now are all grown up and have jobs to buy all of the DVDs and the fun toys? Was this planned all along and we just had to wait?

Either way, this october is going to have people doing the Mario and saying "well ex-cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me princess!" all over again.
