So I need to come up with the content for any tags or info I can put on the main site to help search engines out.

Obviously one of these is the Keyword meta tag, but may be others too.

So with your help, was hoping to come up with, minimum, a nice list of words to put in there.  If you have other suggestions that would be great too.

So no more suggestions or help with even some key words to add?  Anyone?

Seems like a good list to me, but as Mr. A pointed out building a SiteMap for Google might be a good idea.

I thought search engines relied less on the key word meta data and more on content these days..

Maybe we should have an ABOUT page that rattles off what the site is all about.

Keywords are kind of redundant and used less in these moderne times, it's much better to get link referrals (i.e. City of Heroes has a link page for Super Groups, get listed there, etc). Another trick is link to your site in your forum sig (on various forums that are themed similarily) and hey don't be afraid to link directly to some places, you will find that they will become cross-indexed faster (especially if the content is in the URL text). An example of this is my old, small wallpaper gallery, I had linked it a few times on Anime Nation and a few other anime sites and now you can find my pictures sometimes in the first page of results on a Google image search (ex: I've linked my old wallpaper / gallery site on various places and you can find my images linked on the first page of the Google image search).

If you want I could lend you my Google Hacks book, it's quite an interesting read and gives you some insight into how the whole spider process works.
