I though the first one was rather interesting but limited because of the fixed base building system.



Well they changed that and have created what might be the most visualy stunning RTS I have seen...



Well at in the screen shots it looks hot, thats for sure.

The A.I. in the first was supposed to be ground-breaking; the units had "emotions", including the big beasts (can't remember the name) so you had to take into account the morale of your troops when waging battles. At least that's what one of the dev interviews seemed to promise -- did anyone play and find that this was true? Was it a significant difference, affecting gameplay in a beneficial way? Also curious, what are the new features in the sequel, beyond just prettier gfx of course :)

Your units displayed emotion, but I don't think it affected your game play at all.  Yeah we played it a couple of times at LANs.
