Using an emulator he mapped the controller output to two games running at the same time.

Wow, amazing how often a ladder climb synced up with a wall climb :o

I think that in mega man you can't fall off a ladder by pushing right.. so it allowed the second screen to continue running after the first was attached to the lader.

Same thing with the pause for boss battles where there is a cut scene, basically input is ignored.

I watched the whole thing on Saturday but forgot to post until now, pretty amazing but if you read the info on the side it tells you that he played both games on a computer emmulator at super slow speed so he could show off just how good Mega Man X (and X2) could be. Each game was played individually, but synced side by side in an edit afterwards.

Also the 41 minute mark for each one is a curious number since the video runs to 48 minutes (or somesuch). Still it was a joy to behold and the placement of some of the 1-Ups, holochambres and hidden Mid-bosses is CRAZY. I played both MMX and MMX2 and I never even thought of going to some of the nutzo places this guy finds.

Also it pisses me off that he knows the bosses so well he can fight some of them without taking damage (!! grr some of those guys were HELL to beat !!).

Thumbs Up, waaaaaaaay up for Mega Man! Yaaaaaay!
