I know someone outside the circles of these forums whose breath could kill a cat at ten paces. How best to deal with such a person I know not, although the idea of cramming a wad of quick-dry cement into his mouth has come to mind on multiple occasions. I was thinking of buying a party-pak of Altoids (everyones favourite 200 year old mint-maker) and plopping them in our break room for everyones enjoymint, is this too subtle, too strong? Should I just superglue my nostrils shut and never again smell the wonders of the universe?

Thoughts? Ideas?

Offer them a mint directly.. Think about it.. What is the first thing you think when someone offers YOU one.

If they are too dense to get the hint, ask them what they had for lunch in a rude way and make a face.. lol

I can handle a lot of bad smells (I do ride transit), but I can tell when this person is on the phone when I have my headphones on and I can't hear them...

You can try your mint thing first.  If that doesn't work, I'd either try the email, or if I wanted to keep more anonymous, I'd leave a sticky on his keyboard when he's not around (why pay a website to do that?  Or maybe that's just me being cheap )
