Just got this emailed to all staff at work...

Microsoft has released a patch for the Internet Explorer issues that have recently been causing problems with some websites, documents and forms. The patch will be distributed this afternoon to all network connected workstations. An obvious indicator that your workstation has received the update will be a prompt to restart your machine.

Our testing has shown that this update does indeed resolve problems caused by the earlier security patch distributed by Microsoft to thwart an imminent security threat. The only manual check is to confirm that the HTTP 1.1 setting has been left enabled.

Within your browser (Internet Explorer) select Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
Click on the Restore Defaults button
Scroll through the settings and ensure the "Use HTTP 1.1"  is selected with a checkmark.
Exit and restart the Internet Explorer browser session

? does this patch actually fix the "regressive bug" from the last patch ?
