Looks like they may start something here: http://www.gamespot.com/news/6156672.html?action=convert&click=latestnews&tag=latestnews;title;3

Just don't know if this is the first of what is to come or the last of a failed try.

My suspicion is that this is a "free" (with a Gold Membership) preview, since I few people would pay for a clips show, even if it has a few clips from the next season.  When the new season of Galactica is shown on Sci-Fi in the states in October, they'll offer the episodes on the Xbox, and maybe PC, for a similar price to what the cost on the IPod is.  I think Galactica is a better fit on the XBox then the IPod, since the small screen of an IPod doesn't do the show's space battle's justice, while many people who own a 360 also own one of those fancy-dancy big screen TVs that have been talked about on this forum lately :)

Free TV to start, but if they start t put episodes of Deadwood or Entourage on XBL for a few hundred points I wonder how many will jump in on that.  XBL needs further overhaul, its current layout is brutal in the marketplace to find anything relevant.

If I recall the Microsoft propeganda, when the XBox debuted a few years ago they wanted it to be the One Machine you'd have in your living room. Certainly the technology is there, I think this is Microsofts attempt to gauge whether video content delivery would be a successful business model.

Small prediction... There will very soon be a article complaining about the Xbox 360 causing parents issues with their Internet bills.. in the few places where you actually get charged for going over your download limit. Much larger hard drives will also be released.
