Want to see how the "pros" handle a pot exceeding $300,000 cash?

Or how about a half-million -- CASH?

A pretty painful flop, then a very interesting turn, then the river WOW! 8)

Cool site, dozens of videos on this blog, you can learn a lot just by watching how they played the hands...

Hilarious. "The John McEnroe of Poker" -- totally true ;D

Could any of us stay this calm with quads? (what a great hand to watch being played!)

You're in 3rd place at the final table... You're only 1000 under your opponent.

You're dealt 78offsuit in the pocket. What do you do?

Go ALL IN of course ;)

!!! I guess 87o isn't that bad a hand -- when you flop a set and turn quads ;D

My question is, "How do you keep feeding replies into the same thread for so many days when no one else has responded?"

On the plus side they are all related an in one handy place. ;)

Correct: I "keep feeding replies into the same thread" so "they are all related an in one handy place. ;)" ;)

For anyone who suddenly gets the urge to either be entertained or educated, watching some of the final table action, and *especially* the "High Stakes Poker" video clips, is fantastic and "all in one handy place" ;D

PS: update (not a new post ;) )

Why going all-in with pocket Kings (or even Aces!) is not for the faint of heart ;D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjM_JqBxTls

also:
Young poker pro Phil Ivey (famous for his incomparable poker face) also can kinda play PacMan pretty good kinda... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twNCoLjbew8 ;D

Phil Ivey in his typical zone: "2 guys bluffing with nothing!" :o -- finally one of them blinks :)

;D (!) Scotty Nguyen experiencing a consecutive trio of hands that occurs, oh, about 1-in-18BILLION* times.

His headsup opponents each had K8clubs *all three times* he went all-in. :o

*18billion: 52 x 51 = 2652 combination of pockets; 2652 x 2652 x 2652 = 18,651,791,808

"Kid Poker" Daniel Negreanu is apparently a psychic in his time away from the tables... :D

spooky read

and even spookier: National Heads-Up Poker Championship 2005: runner runner straight flush :o

(from That blog I revisit from time to time)

That's awesome. I had a hand like that in a tournament at the Baccarat. I flopped a set of aces (I had the black aces in the hole) with a flop of Ad Kh Jh. I put my opponent all in to make a flush draw expensive. He calls and shows Ah Kd for two pair. I have him crushed at that point with his only outs being runner-runner flush. Turn: Th. River: Qh. The dealer says "Flush. No wait, straight flush. No wait, ROYAL FLUSH!" I had him covered and was still in good shape but wow, what a cool hand.

I love hearing Mr Kotter doing commentary for the Heads Up show.

Also learn from the fools!

The Most Amazing Example of Tilt EVER! :o

Maybe Tuff_Fish could stake me: My tilt control is a bit better than his, and he seem to have tons of $$$ to burn... ;)

LOTS more of his [mis]adventures on Youtube :D
