As much as I'm a huge Halo fan - I'm totally not interested in getting into this beta.  Pisses me off that Halo focuses so much on multiplayer now, wish they'd go back to their roots and focus more on the single-player campaign (and co-op play through it).  Not that they need to take out deathmatch, even Halo 1 had it (though no Live then), but just make a map and the deathmatchers can be happy throwing rockets at each other, and spend time making real content for the rest of us.

I can't wait to spend most of my time playing Halo 3 multiplayer   Its a very well balanced deathmatching/ctf system that integrated vehicles in a way that wasn't overpowered.  What's not to like?
