An amusing and surprising "discussion" re. the new film "The 40 Year Old Virgin". Funny, touching... And some say this might do for Mr. Carel what "Elf" did for Mr. Ferrell.

...Prolly a safer bet for your $10 movie admission than Transporter 2? ;)

And yes, The Ebert likes it too!

I heard it was pretty good from a few people, however i have never been able to justify $10 on a movie that will see no benifit of THX and a giant screen :)

Ah, hence the interest in seeing films like "Transporter 2" ;)

PS: Just saw the latest trailer for "The Brothers Grimm" and I hope it isn't as Hollywood as the plot looks like it might be... But the visuals and the sound are prolly gonna be Gilliamesque so anyone interested?

It's funny finding these uber-ancient threads and seeing if our "predictions" came true or not.

re. Steve and TFYOV, yeah it kinda was a sorta big success a little. :)

And coming later this month... Will Ferrell first mocked journalism, then NASCAR... now FIGURE SKATING?

Blades of Glory
In 2002, two rival Olympic ice skaters were stripped of their gold medals and permanently banned from men's single competition. Presently, however, they've found a loophole that will allow them to qualify as a pairs team.
