What is UnPlug
UnPlug is a FireFox extension which lets you save video and audio which is embedded on a webpage.

UnPlug scans web pages and tells you where things like media players and other embedded objects are getting their data from, and displays it as a simple hyperlink: in most cases, you can then follow the simple download link to save the media file.

On pages where UnPlug can help, it will display an icon at the top-left of the page. You can click on this and UnPlug will tell you what it found. If you don't want the UnPlug icon displayed, or want UnPlug in the context menu, tools menu or a toolbar button, you can just change the options.

Downloading videos
YouTube itself does not make it easy to download and save videos for offline viewing or editing, but several third-party web sites (e.g. SaveTube) applications, browser extensions (e.g. the UnPlug or VideoDownloader Firefox extensions or FLVR and Free YouTube Converter) and web sites exist for that purpose. Alternatively, most .flv files can be copied from Temporary Internet Files (in Windows) to a permanent folder. The .flv files can then be converted to more popular formats using various tools. I used this to grab a few vids off of YouTube it works ok, but you will need an FLV viewer (I'll link to the one I use tonight).

Holy crap, BullRun is an addictive show. I have only basic cable so never heard of it until now. A really well-put-together, watchable "reality TV" series, as evidenced by this non-racing-fan spending my whole lunch watching that ep. (I was even suprised by how not-too-overtop Mr. Goldberg played the host, kinda like the archetypical "disapproving father who never gives hope on them wild kids" )
