There is a possibility the series would be decent, IF they quickly move away from the angry/politicallycorrect gimmick premise and focus on character development, i.e. dysfunctional family issues, quirky co-workers, stupid bosses, crazy neighbours, trouble with the law, overheard misunderstandings, etc. that has ALWAYS guaranteed long-term success in a sitcom, even the non-standard, intelligent ones like Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development.

Also, look on YT for the 8 minute video of one of the "cavemen" golfing with some NFL pro -- it's actually (surprisingly!) quite funny, and probably the reason that ABC even considered the idea as a series... but it's funny BECAUSE it's a single comical character vs. a "straight man" ... it would certainly get boring if it's just "angry caveman complains to other angry caveman" all the time. We need some Jason Bateman or Cheryl Hines type of stick in the mud, for them to play against, at the very least.

Oh, and gotta have a love interest. ::rolleyes::

Yes, I was being strangely out of character by giving it a potential benefit of the doubt... IF it doesn't pander to the stupidity of the average Uhmeruhcant viewer...

Oh wait, it's on ABC isn't it? Forget any "CYE" or "AD" style to be implemented then... :(
