Just picked this game up yesterday for $29.99 at EB, and am I ever pleasantly surprised. Seems this is one of those Euro games that doesn't get much promo, but is secretly pretty good.

Drakensang: The Dark Eye is the first PC adaptation of Germany's most popular and long-standing pen and paper RPG franchise in 10 years. In the last twenty years a thriving community of millions has grown, as the fantasy universe of Aventuria has been expanded in books, board games and computer games.

Never heard of the P&P game, but maybe some of you die-hards have. It's kind of strange that you can adjust your stats at any time, and levels seem to only be there to set a maximum that you can raise said stats. The manual camera control takes a little bit of getting used to, but becomes an afterthought pretty quick. With WoW being out for a few years now and being a mondo success, I still don't understand why people don't copy their control/camera system.

Just thought I'd pass it on for those that might be getting tired of waiting for Dragon Age and need a fix.
