My wife and I have enjoyed watching a tv show called Chuck.  There's rumours of Chuck being cancelled, which has led to the created of the site SaveChuckBartowski.com.  Are you a Chuck fan?  Are you hoping it doesn't wrap up, like it seems they're doing in the series?

Seriously, when Everybody Loves Raymond and According To Jim stays on the air for years, you'd hope a funny show like Chuck could stick around for at least a third season...

Lazybones

Chuck is not bad, the special code hidden in Missile Command was a good one.

I don't think I've even seen one single ep yet.
<Zapata Prime> I smell Stanley... And he smells good!!!

So, I'm a Chuck fan. From day one to the Imported Hard Salami, to the Marlin to Santa Claus - every episode has been a complete pleasure for me to watch. First off, there's Chuck. Like I said, completely likeable and somebody most of us can identify with: a guy who wants a bit more than he has, regrets a few things he's missed out on and tries to make the best of what he's got. Then we add the quirky and very attached best friend. I mean, could Morgan be any more fun of a character? OK, I guess Lester and Jeff are equally fun. But then so are Big Mike, Anna and the rest of the gang. A perfect collection of misfits that make the most likeable cast I can think of. Honestly, I can't think of any other show where I really like EVERY character. But on Chuck, I do.

...

OK, so then there are the last two characters to discuss: Casey and Sarah. I have enjoyed Adam Baldwin's performances in the past, but he really nails Casey as a character. I love the whole Reagan fascination, the tough guy thing and then the moment in "Chuck Verses the Colonel" when he says "you didn't invite me". That was priceless! Then there's Sarah. Again, not sure what she did before this, but she's got this character down. She's got such a range from caring to tough to sexy to deadly. You gotta love Sarah!

...

Lastly, let's not forget about how well all of this is woven together by a fantastic set of writers. The humor in Chuck is so clever, so spot on, it's remarkable. Everything from extra storylines like Big Mike hooking up with Morgan's mom to things like the Delorean and guest stars like John Larroquette and now Chevy Case and Scott Bakula - the writers weave everything together so perfectly it feels incredibly comfortable while still being fresh and fun. And while the laughs come often, there's still often some great adventure and even some real emotion in there. It all comes together perfectly for an extremely entertaining hour of television.

Well, if you've seen Chuck then you've probably smiled a few times reading through my brief (or not so much) overview of the things that make Chuck so great. If you haven't seen Chuck, I hope your interest is peaked because you're missing out - really! Chuck is the only show that I watch the night it airs. I really can't wait for each week. And that is why I threw all of this obsession together. I don't want to lose my favorite hour of TV each week.

Oh great, another short-lived standout series that I've avoided watching for fear it'll be cancelled before it fully hits its stride, and which I'll probably be tempted to buy when "The Complete Series" comes out on DVD... Firefly, S:AAB, now Chuck? :p

Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the average American television viewer
(but they surely did OVERestimating it... dang (in advance.) )

I was on IMDB reading some "Chuck" threads, and one of them linked to this music video mashup:

that childish SNL/Lonely Island song "JIMP", timed with certain scenes in "Chuck".

Chuck has been "saved" (i.e. renewed)...

...thanks to the fine folks at Subway Sandwiches(!)

and, in further Good News Everyone, Carlos Mencia will no longer torture hapless channel surfers in his racist failed attempts at being funny. Whew!
