So I've been watching some of these TV show Originals from Starz, and they remind me of HBO Original productions.  Starz: http://www.starz.com/

I am really enjoying Spartacus: Blood and Arena, and am said to read that the lead actor has cancer and will be replaced (with his wishes).  It is done in the same cinematography as 300 movie, with differences, as it tries to be more real with scenery and only goes epic with the big arena battles.  Although the name is Spartacus, it is actually about a Threashian (spelling?) alive after the original Spartacus.  They also have Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, but that is a prequel released this season, as the lead was in cancer treatment for Blood and Arena.  Blood and Arena will be back again with the new lead soon.  A word of caution:  The advertise this as the bloodiest TV show out there, and that would be very accurate.  This is not for kids due to language, sexual content and violence for sure!

I am starting Camelot, and will let you know how that goes. Supposed to be alright, and seems that way, but is in the style of Zena or Hercules.

They also have 2 more that I might check out: Torchwood: Miracle Day, and The Pillars of Earth.  Both have intriguing intros and trailers, although Torchwood: Miracle Day isn't out yet.

There are others, and most have some well known actors in them.  Check out their listings, but I do urge anyone whom liked Rome, or likes Games of Thrones to watch Spartacus (both the Blood and Arena and prequel Gods of the Arena).

Already watched through Spartacus: Blood and Sand and hope it comes back. Although I think the funnest thing is that the sexual content is probably just as over the top as the violence. It could be named Spartacus: Sex and Violence, but that might upset some people.
