Useless Trivia: Where the XP Bliss Background Came From

I don't know just how I ended up here, but ever wonder where the image used for XP's default Bliss background came for?

They state it wasn't digitally touched up, so I have to wonder what kind of lenses etc where used etc.

Looking at the photo though there was likely at least one colour lens and a polarizer filter.

I'm going to take a guess that this was using ISO 100 film. It also looks to me like they were using a telephoto lens with a large aperture setting (given the depth of field) and a lower shutter speed (maybe 1/15 s). Maybe it's just me (or again, a filter) but I think I can see "vignetting" on the bottom half so, it may have been a larger photo that's been cropped.

Dammit I wish the sun would come out today! lol
