I'm sure we could mock a few screens up in Balsamiq or something real fast.

NEAT!

and even neater when you read the story of the software's development: http://readwrite.com/2008/11/14/man_writes_software_blogs_abou

Wow, what a great tool. Thanks for calling this out RWW! We've been working on wireframes for version 4 of our wiki-inspired intranet software (ThoughtFarmer). We've used scanned pencil sketches, PowerPoint drawing tools, Axure prototyping software, and some PhotoShop. My favourite is pencil, but it's slow and doesn't work well for collaborating across geographically dispersed offices. Balsamiq seems like a perfect balance. "
^ and it's been around for a while eh? Hard for a megacorp to improve upon one man's perfectly elegant simplicity  8)

The thing I like about this tool is it's fast and easy to use and just plain works.

Ironically enough I found that we DO have Visio available thru MSDN but none of our product owners use it, they prefer Balsamiq because it is light and easy to use.

Extremely worth the fee, esp compared to other tools in the same domain, well worth it

I thought so, it's like, you use something a lot and you forget that other people may not have touched it or heard about it, so I feel this is a good thread to have on its own (for anything: searching later!)

Talking about flexibility, our PO had to change up some mockups he did, it only took him an hour and it was done and looked decent. No messing around with designer or Visio just BOOSH! done. In our hands. No questions!
