That's understandable the project was picked up by a big publisher with a lot of hype around it and then cancelled, the original creator bought back the rights and continued work on it with a new team

Lots of streaming of Hytale going on... pretty impressive given its rocky history and being almost an alpha early access.

I ended up buying it, so far it's pretty fun
