The share price in French publisher Ubisoft rose sharply yesterday following comments from CEO Yves Guillemot, who admitted that a take-over by industry powerhouse EA could happen.

gamesindustry.biz is the "World Weekly News" of the gaming industry.  However, i could see it happening, and it would be HORRIBLE.  Who would exist after that?  Microsoft and EA?

I tend to agree on the source, but like you I thought worth posting cause of the "what if?" factor.  Yeah starting to sound like the bigs are getting bigger and bigger.

Sony, EA and Blizzard are all members of "The Pentaverate", they decide and control what sequels get made and force you to crave certain games fortnightly...
