Newsgroup downloader

Im trying to find a good newsgroup downloader but im coming up empty.  I was using grabit until i got this annoying box saying that ive reached my limit and that i can purchase more.   Basically the program is wanting to charge me for access to free content.  GRABIT IS THE WORLDS BIGGEST PIECE OF SH*T.



Anyways, any recommendations?

The message you are getting is for the news search feature in GrabIt.  That only gives you maximum per week on searches, unless you subscribe to their news service servers.



I used to use NewzBin in combination with GrabIt, and in fact still do for the most part.  I also subscribe to their server system for fills of files I miss.  So IMO GrabIt is still a decent news client.
