LOL, I remember the old NES manual said "after 30 min of gameplay take a break" YEAH RIGHT ;)

Hopefully there is a way to switch between modes for when you get tired. Personally I'd like it for sniping or even close combat stuff. Tank driving not so much, heck even the WWII tank drivers had "controllers" of sorts (a control yoke).

For me it always boils down to fun gameplay, I mean I'd trade in a million Hi-Def GTA clones for one copy of WarioWare. Heck I even use my cart adapter on my GC to play a lot of fun Gameboy and GBA games.

Nice graphics are a bonus, don't get me wrong, but at the heart of any game is fun. CoD, even on PC isn't exactly graphics intensive, but it's a helluva lot of fun, and I can't wait to see it on the Wii.

Agreed!

And looks like the "HARDWARE" page at wii.nintendo.com mentions that the 5inchx5inchx2inch Wii box allows for using old Gamecube controllers and memory cards, and will allow reading of Gamecube discs as well as the newer full-sized 5inch Wii game CDs. Why get left behind? I'm 90% onboard, $$$ is the only factor now ;D

This seems to be kinda pointed at me, as I'm the one playing on a 16:9 HD DLP TV.

Err, that was in response to the post before it, from Shayne.  If I remember right he posted once that he had bought a 16:9 DLP and would be playing XBox 360 on it.  In fact, here's the post: http://forums.righteouswrath.com/index.php/topic,2787.0.html.

As for the aiming, I get your point.  Then again, in my house we don't sit and play a video game for five hours straight.  Probably because we don't have twenty-something gamers that get to choose how long they play; instead we have little kids that are still being taught about getting outside for exercise every day.  That goes back to the comment I made about different markets, though.
