I don't know what is going on yesterday/today for Sony (other than the price cut announcement), but VE3D has almost 2 pages of screens for upcoming PS3 games, check it out:

Sony announced that the low-end PS3 will come with HDMI, and the price drop of the low end model is for Japanese customers only.

though the open price concept for the premium is interesting.  makes me wonder how much the companies pay sony to get some.

QuoteWhile the PlayStation 3 and 360 versions of Assassin's Creed are virtually identical, Raymond did say that on the 360 the team is putting a special emphasis on achievements. The hardware also allows for improved threading, which will improve even further the crowd AI.

So the Cell can't cut it?  Eeek.

The threading comment is interesting because that is what Sony has been pushing as the BIG FEATURE of Cell. However the Cells them selves are not full processors, in the 360 there are 3 FULL general processors, in the PS3 the cell chip is broken into minor processors which require specialized requests for them to do work.
