Apparently leaving it on the counter for 15 minutes or so, covered in Coke or Pepsi, results in little uninvited "guests" appearing on the scene...

I think I will be cooking all my pork extra long from now on.

LOL well unless you want some new friends "hooked" into your intestines, that's a good plan anyway.

But the videos are of course a viral hoax -- some say the things that look like worms are actually just the fat kinda surfacing, appearing in squiggly line shapes.

PS: apparently this was the "original" site that posted the video, back in Feb2007: http://my.break.com/Media/Search.aspx?s=pork+coke&SearchType=Main

Well the only way to know is to try it I guess, both are not hard to come by in my house.

I've watched a bunch of "we tried it ourselves" videos, and those that don't "cut away" never show anything remotely luck worms or maggots.

And a John Hopkins University research doc says its propaganda from the dairy industry (!)

PS: for those feeling down (like this Friday won't end fast enough) check out this pork video, with "Una Paloma Blanca" as the background music. Guaranteed to lift your spirits! (and cheaper than beer)

PPS: Coke makes a great marinade/BBQ sauce base, apparently.
