Should our Steam Group Public or Private?

Public

Private

Total Members Voted: 5

Mr. Analog

I've created our group in the Steam community as private for now, but I want everyones input on this.

If the group is public than anyone can join us, if it is private then we have to invite others. There are pros and cons to both, but I want to know what you guys think.

Doesn't matter to me; could be a way to drum up some new peeps on the forums.

If that is desirable, vote yes :D

I would but there is only a Public/Private option :P

I know, do you want more people here? If yes then Public is for you. If not, then Private might be more your style.

I voted Public because it would be nice to get more forum members as indicated might happen if the Steam group is public.  Don't know how much my vote counts, though, as I'll probably never be playing online games...

I'm leaning toward public as well for similar reasons.

Public. I belong to two invite-only groups and the rest are public. From my experience it's easier to moderate a public steam group than it is to much about with an onrnery member on a private group.

There's no real harm in leaving it public considering we'll be starting out small. We could get all kinds of new members via the group. In the very least it will make organizing games easier via Steam Chat.

Mr. Analog

Well, I think the People have spoken, I will make it public ASAP
