If you are late on average once a week (late being not there when needed) you really need to evaluate where you live, how you get to work or something to fix it.
^ "it's not that I'm lazy... it's just that I don't care..."

Didn't say you where lazy, however you clearly admit that the reason is within your control.

np, just was quoting Office Space, but also was sayin' more seriously that if this organization did more than Lip Service to demonstrate the value placed upon its employees, it would be a different, self-motivated story.

case in point: This afternoon just had the Conference Call with the deputy minister, he was talking about the history of agriculture blah blah, for the first time in a long time commodity prices are up* good for the ministry blah blah, he said we are all amazing people blah blah, but it ended with no mention of the ongoing hiring freeze and freeze on cost of living increase, silent on that topic. Needless to say, even with the Happy People in the office bank here, much lower morale after the phone call, as a result. Really think the timing of this thread is ironic (or is it coincidental?) *we are also ALBERTANS, who consume those now-considerably-more-expensive commodities -- with the same salary as 24-36 months ago! wtf!

Anyway, priority 1 for this procrastinator: make my new house a livable home, priority 2: get off my ass, career-wise, and start watching them dot net videos and see where that takes me...
