US iced tea is very different from Canadian iced tea.

For example: theirs is actual tea, ours is kool aid.

How one aids kool I will never know, do they have kool aides that administer aid to kool? Is that Kool Aid Man's job title? Kool Aide?

Why would you be surprised that a guy with a whole bunch of money and time made through being famous:
  a) spends time attention-whoring on Twitter
  b) spends time playing video games
  c) combines the two?

Not sure how him tweeting about playing a game makes him a "hardcore gamer", either.  But then I've always found the "hardcore gamer" label to be very difficult to apply because everyone has their own ideas about it.  For instance, if one plays Facebook games for 8 hours a day, is one more or less hardcore than if one plays Black Ops and MW3 for 2 hours a day?

That's a good question actually, is it just a catch all for "people who play games a lot" or is it more of a "people who play a certain type of game a lot"?

I think they do, depending on which biased website they are posting comments onto, and how strongly/vocally/blindly they dislike "the other console/franchise"



BTW, I was saying Ice T is not just a guy who is aware of new games, but that he is eager/excited about the release date of those games, and sad when he can't get it during the midnight first-opportunity crowd, etc. And he's got some kind of gamers league or something that he regularly references via # tags added to his tweets (edit: actually it's more like a "trolling gang", some say)

I got this impression, tbh, from a "Cracked*" list, something like "7 Celebrity Tweets That Will Surprise You" (I think #1 or #2 was Mike "Peaceful Vegan Philosopher" Tyson).

Even if you only go back as far as the beginning of September 2010 on his Twitter feed, you'll find no fewer than 98 mentions of the word "game." Dead Rising gets 13 mentions. Try MW2 (Modern Warfare 2) and you'll see eight mentions. Fallout, as in Fallout: New Vegas gets five. Gears 3 gets three.

Ice-T not only tweets extensively about his gaming passion but also interacts with fans over it. And P.S., reading Ice's feed as a nongamer is straight gibberish.

So... for those thinking this was my usual "why the fudge does Darren think this is remotely on-topic?" hijack... I hope I've explained myself
