Yeah, I thought that was crazy. Deep in a hole, with almost no entities about. I have it set to MaxFPS, but I think I have it on fancy and advanced gl. But, that's in windowed mode.

This is fullscreen (1080p) in the same location (showing the settings this time).

I spawned in the nether bricks, given that you'll be able to make them out of netherrack soon I didn't really think it was that cheaty.

One building done... only dozens to go!

The hardest part so far hasn't been the height or even the logistics of building a platform that you have to destroy later, no, it's the horde of mobs that come out at night because there's no where else to spawn
