But have any of you wanted to press shift in any other games that require fancy footwork around ledges? I started some Portal 2 tonight. no shift for looking off the edges of things is dearly missed.

The feature isn't unique to minecraft, I do have a habit of doing it in most games with clif type puzzles.

The main problem is shift doesn't do that in Portal 2

That's mine.  I started work on it quite a while ago, but haven't got far through it yet.  Mainly as I'm still undecided about the final design.  My name for it (at least for now, is Nordvang).

That's also one of mine.

edit: Oh, and that's not a house. It's a small indoor wheat farm.  The top of the tower has all the usual devices - crafting bench, chests, forge and bed.   There's a cave system on the island as well, which joins up with an abandoned mine.
