Yes, in the Nether.  I figured the red blocks would be a good enough indication.  I'll go get a better picture with the default tex-pak.

I forgot about the default texture pack...  it's SO MUCH UGLIER

Also, there's a tree, too.  Took me 3 stacks of bonemeal to realize the tree couldn't grow because torches were in the way

This room's getting big...  I'm on my fourth diamond pickaxe, I think.  http://mc.tomasu.org/#/1562/64/765/max/0/1 and also attached screenshot.  It's gonna be 100 long x 37 wide x 28 high (that's 103,600 blocks!  66 diamond picks!  Okay, maybe I'll re-think that size!)
