QuoteCan I download the game?Currently we're in closed beta, and only those community members with beta keys are able to download the game and play. Can I get a beta key? There are two ways community members get invites. Our testers receive invites to give out and sometimes hold giveaways and contests for the keys in the Off Topic section of the forums. Also, we send out invites at random directly to people that have registered on the forums. We give a slight nod to members that are active. How can I be considered active?Logging in and reading the forums is the most basic thing you can do to register your activity (so lurkers, you don't need to worry as long as you are logged in). We definitely appreciate and promote positive discussions, debates and contributions to the community.Firefall is currently still in closed beta. To download the game you need to receive a beta invite. By being signed up for the forums you're already in the running to get a key. Congratulations! You can increase your chances of getting a key by being active on the forums and making friends. I stress making friends because when Red5 decides it's necessary to increase the size of the beta they tend to give the current testers keys to give to friends.Welcome to the forums!P.S. The NDA was just lifted today so if you have any questions about the game feel free to ask. There's several people live streaming the beta on twitch.tv and there's a good amount of videos up on Youtube already. All you do by registering an account is enable yourself to be selected to receive a key.As mentioned elsewhere in these very forums, being active and logged in frequently are a plus that can help you to be considered, but ultimately the only requirement for a key is being a registered member.Other than posting and hoping, not much you can do to expedite the process. Welcome to the forums, though!
QuoteFirefall is something Red 5 Studios has developed, largely in seclusion, for a long time now. Now, we're almost ready to reveal to the world what we feel is so great about the game we've made. However, the last piece of this stage of development relies heavily on you - the chosen beta tester. Being a beta tester can be a very rewarding experience. You get insight into the development process, often get to chat directly with the game's development team, and your feedback will help make Firefall better! However, note that being a beta tester can also be an exercise in patience. As the game is still very much in development, you must respect our non-disclosure agreement (NDA), and often deal with aspects of the game that are unpolished, imbalanced, or utterly broken.Don't have a beta code?If you don't have a beta code just yet, don't worry. We are constantly growing the beta to include additional testers. Our goal is to continue to grow beta until we reach the point where everyone that wants to play can play. Until then, keep an eye on your e-mail inbox, the Firefall website, or your favorite news site for more information on the Firefall beta. If you do have a beta code, please enter it below to continue.Invite Code:

Quote from: Darren Dirt on April 06, 2012, 10:45:07 PMIn the unlikely event that I get a beta, it might be like gmail where you can 'tell 2 friends' (and then they tell 2 friends, and so on, and so on... ahhh gotta love 80s commercials flashbacks eh)
