"JonTron" hilariously disects its awesome terribleness...

and for extra lulz, there's a trailer (whose editing mighta cost more than the filming itself)

"Okay, so The Birds technically was made before Birdemic: Shock and Terror for all you sticklers who argue that time is linear. But Birdemic goes above and beyond the limits of its predecessor by reimagining the power birds can actually have. What was the problem with Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds? Hitchcock clearly did not understand the power of birds. Harnessing the power of modern science, Nguyen goes beyond pecking and crapping, two overused and pretty much unthreatening weapons. Nguyen's film hypothesizes that upon making contact with solid surfaces, birds will explode into a fiery butterball of flames."

Does the creepiest actor commit suicide shortly after the film? If no, then no.

Now that the internet is saying all over the place, basically "so bad it's... wait, no, it's actually just bad" -- guess what?

LET THERE BE SEQUEL!

"who* needs talent when you have this much passion?"

*ummm... the viewers, maybe? Yeah, the audience would appreciate if the producer of the content they choose to view actually has talent, I think...

I think the other essential ingredient for "movie so bad it's good" is that it has to be sincere.

A lot of REALLY bad films are usually written, directed, produced and sometimes acted by the same person, a person who has a story to tell, a person with little to no experience or cash (or common sense or taste).

That way you get bizarre films like "The Creeping Terror" which ... you have just to watch to fully become aware of the total strangeness, done poorly, with complete sincerity. A singular combination of moralizing and author appeal that's done completely straight faced (but with heavy narration, as the original sound was lost)

Also, as with so many other great bad films, it has strange connections to other strange things like the director disappearing after the film's release and the assistant director giving a handgun to Charles Manson. Did I mention the director's brother was also the guy who penned "Towering Inferno" and "The Poseidon Adventure"?

So yeah, films like that are things of legend. Films that try to look cheap and awkward end up just looking cheap and awkward.

And this is why I love B-Movies I guess.

TOTALLY the obvious vibe I got from the "trailer" to the "sequel" to this "movie".
