Plex - Move Movies Folder to new Server

So I want to move my movies folder to a new server, but don't want to loose any of my customization or fixed mismatches.  You guys have to do this yet?  Do you know if there is a way?  If I just add in the new path it will rescan them again and not reapply my fixes I am pretty sure.

If you can convince it's the exact same path, it might not notice. Otherwise I imagine youd need some kind of migration script to rename the files in the database.

Yep followed that instructions to the T and now all my meta data is slated for the trash.  Didn't update the paths to the new location at all.  Figured that was going to happen, haven't had this succeed yet unless using the disk replacement scenario.

Damn now I have to go through and remember which ones I fixed and repeat.  GRRRR!

Do you have auto trash turned on? At any rate there are several plex forum threads on this.
