Yay, another language! And it's meant to replace all the other ones! Except if you're trying to make desktop apps, operating systems, or web apps. Well, it'll replace all the other technical computing ones. Except the ones Yahoo and Facebook use, but hey, those guys don't have any sway in the techno-world.

So really, it's a specific-problem-solving language that hasn't been clouded by the little gremlins that will crawl in.

Speaking of that last xkcd, I have been slowly trying to organize some things on my nas. and files on my laptop. So once in a while, I move things to the nas in the correct place, and re-sort things on the nas itself.

my picture's folder needs more work, but I've already begun on the long arduous process of actually sorting things into categories rather than "pictures from X computer", and "pictures from old server", and "pictures from camera X", and "pictures from random location Y". I've mostly sorted the cat pictures, and "mug shots" (yes, "/mnt/mrbig/data/images/mug shots" exists), more work of course needs to be done. BUT PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE.

I have a big problem with pictures, I download a lot of images for references and then I can't find them again so what happens is I end up downloading them over and over. I have a lot of duplicated content

I think there are tools to figure out what's a copy/etc but It would probably take a week to run! haha
