Some Tech Support I Don't Want to Do

So this morning our Wireless guy was busy at his desk.  He gets a call from our Network Coordinator asking him if he can send some guys out to look at an Access Point, would there be a problem?  The Wireless guys says no, and why does he even have to ask.  The Network Coordinator says he was checking the device in the management portal and wondered if it would be safe to send a guy out to look at it.  The Wireless guy says why is that?... so the Network Coordinator tells him to go look at the management portal and see if there is anything that would have him ask the question...

Aside from the obvious temperature error, is the event count something to look at? :o

We thought to call the Vendor support and open a case something like:

"Yeah so we've sent 3 techs to investigate a temperature problem. While we haven't heard back from the yet we figured we should call in and open a case. Do you think I should be worried about them?"
