Nintendo is making smartphone games

There are only two players in the mobile games market:
-Nintendo
-Mobile (aka everybody else)

And mobile is huge. In fact, one of the the things that saved Nintendo from the first year of Wii U sales was their mobile platforms which are still among the most popular consoles to date, but its a drop in the bucket compared to the mobile games market (in Asia in particular).

I'm not surprised that the big red N is finally tapping into that bigger pool but this could spell doom for Nintendo hardware. The could end up like Sega in a few years.
