It's hot out, at least for where I live.

I'm pretty sure we won't see any more snow this spring.

Yeah, its over 26c, and like 14% humidity. Hot and dry. I was tempted to set up my AC, but the fan in the window at night trick is working well enough and it saves me some money. My big AC is like 12-14kW.

I had to put a sweater on this morning :D

Sometimes I remember the old days of living on the 4th floor with no AC and a black tar roof and it would easily hit 35 if it was over 25 outside... nope, don't miss it!

What are the dimensions? My windows are only a max of 21" wide (horizontal sliders with one fixed pane). And how much are you looking for?

I went looking

He says it's 6,300 BTU, but he doesn't say the dimensions.  I'd be willing to bet 21 inches is enough space, looking at 9,000 BTU one.  But better to confirm the size.

21" sounded awfully small to me so I looked up standard window sizes and found that Standard sliding window widths are 36, 48, 60, 72 and 84 inches wide

Is the window really that small or just one side of a sliding window?

It's just one side, as the window can only open on the left side, the right side is fixed in place and is not removable.

So including the mounting flanges you have a 48" window?

Yeah, I think the actual openings in the wall are about 4 feet.

I'll try to get the dimensions so you can tell if it would work for you.
