Possible aka: Facts Vs Feelings War of 2016-?

"The media LIED to you about Hillary's chances, so don't you think they also LIED to you about who Trump is and what he'll do?"

PS: after honest introspection, by which do you most see yourself represented of the "blue" or "red" PEOPLE described in this article* http://archive.is/oTQQr

*lengthy but INCREDIBLY valuable in understanding "Electoral College" and US History right up until the present. @%&# is at a possible crisis point - which will suck for everybody. Here's hoping CW is averted.

Someone put together an album of a few dozen of the best known or most revealing meme imagery from "The Great Meme War":

Some really hilarious ones but also a few terrible ones in there too. #NeverForgetTheWar

My favorites so far are all the Joe Biden ones where he wants to do something and asks Barack if it's OK :)

Handy dandy NPR link:

These have been my favorite on tumblr/twitter

Yeah, those biden ones are great :D
<Zapata Prime> I smell Stanley... And he smells good!!!

https://i.sli.mg/z9exaH.jpg is a good one that sums up some hypocrisy. Short-lived I hope, needs to cool down before it escalates into worse :(

I HEAR YA, personally I'm disgusted with both sides. The Dems got to fight the candidate they wanted, the Republicans stuck themselves with a buffoon (again!?) and turned a Simpsons joke into reality

I mostly agree. Though I don't think you can say that its just down to the left bawling like babies. There's some serious concerns with how the new government is being set up.

There are cranks on both sides and a lot of BS in between. You really have to squint to find the facts behind a lot of the stories floating around, it's getting harder to differentiate between opinion and reality

What irritates me more than anything is how easily attention can be drawn just with a few social media posts. Like, how many people noticed that Trump admitted to defrauding people at "Trump U" to the sum of $25 million in the wake of the VP elect getting "booed" at a Broadway musical? Some people can believe that it was all just a coincidence that Mike Pence going to Hamilton would NOT be a total @%&#ing disaster that would generate tons of buzz while the real shocking stuff was happening just to the side.

This is how both sides operate in the US, there's a song and dance the media focuses on while reality is happening almost completely ignored. Twitter pictures of the President happily hanging out with his family while drone strikes tear ass in Pakistan.
