I just ate some Smarties which ... admittedly it's been a long time since I've done but man! What's up with the flavor? Pleh!

Smarties never tasted great, especially after eating M&Ms

"I like my Coffee Crisp!" Actually, no I don't, not anymore. It tastes way more "coffee"-like than it used to back in the 80s/90s. Blech. (You may now guess that I don't like coffee... yet CC the choco bar I used to like, wtf? But not anymore)


And, yes, Smarties is now less chocolatey, more candy-shell gross tasting than it used to be. And KFC gravy? WTF that stuff used to be HEAVEN IN GOOEY LIQUID FORM, now it's peppered garbage.

Always though smarties tasted a little bit like cardboard from the box they came in.

Yup depending on how much melting happened before it got to your taste buds. Which may be why M&Ms are in such a different container.
