How Dwarf Fortress Coming to Steam Changed Everything

I have to admit I have never played it and the reason is even covered in the first part of the video. It was just too complex but given all the popular remakes these days it is neat to see this one get a face lift.

Dwarf Fortress is 100% insane and I don't know how anyone plays it successfully for a good length of time. Chaos!!

Some veteran DF'ers swear it has achieved sentience... or the devs are insane how much complex detailed built-in rules they coded into it over the years.
