Soul Calibur III

 While i did enjoy SC2 on my Xbox, this quote here really sorta bums me out...

According to currently available information, it appears that, unlike its predecessor Soul Calibur II, the game will be exclusive to the PlayStation 2 when it ships sometime this year.

...i can hear the collective booo of millions of Xbox and GameCube owners.  At least us Xbox owners get DOA exclusivly.

 This information is all very early still so who can say that at one time or another there won't be a port to the XBox, though I suspect that Namco's sales haven't been great through the XBox compared to the PS2.

One of the feature modes that has me interested is the "Chronicles of the sword" mode that let's you create your own character! While this has been done before in one form or another (Street Fighter 3 Alpha [PSX], Guilty Gear Isuka [PS2]) hopefully it will be done better than in those.

There is also a tidbit in there talking about a world competition mode, they (and I) can only speculate about online play, but let's hope it's featured.
