ATI Crossfire

 Wack of previews out for this yesterday, so thought I would post some links:

Sounds like the ATI version will boost even old games, requiring no driver support, which will be a huge jump over nVidia's SLI technology, if it is true.

 All you need is a regular X800 or X850 and a matching class crossfire card.

Problem is you need an ATI chipset motherboard to do it..

SLI and Crossfire seem too pricy in the long run to me.. but the ATI solution allows for more mixing and matching of brands.
