Uhh, can you delete yours darren  I got it figured out, doesnt like tabs, but spaces work very well.  All prices are in USD and adjusted for inflation.  Though im not sure what inflation rate, but im very sure that somebody here with to much time on their hands can figure it out.



I found an inflation calculator that outputs the exact same numbers in this chart so i updated it with a few missing machines.  For referance...

What cost $100 in 1985 would cost $177.47 in 2005.

What cost $100 in 1995 would cost $124.42 in 2005.

What cost $100 in 2000 would cost $111.05 in 2005.

Have to wonder what the guys at Neo and 3DO were thinking, great systems for their time, but common....



I was surprised how much Atari and Intellivision were in their day, I mean yeah they were a brand new thing (not counting PONG), but wow they were alot in the day. Guess gotta thank the parents for that one.

I find it sort of fasinating that throughout history, starting at the very beginning of console gaming, the price has pretty much stayed the same until now. (199-299).
