What do you think is the most annoying "feature" of this or other forums?

For me, it would be this forums "new posts" page's Alzheimer's. Why does it "forget" that there's still new posts after a few hours? I find it extremely annoying, and I manage to miss quite a few new posts, and it makes me not want to even bother use this forum.

Use the View latest: 24h  48h  72h feature, that is what it is there for..

The new posts thing is a phpBB issue... Another reason I would like to move to vB.

Since I check the forum every 4 hours or so it hasn't been a problem ;)

I've never had a problem with the "new posts" thing on this forum before either.

One thing that really drives me nuts that some forums do, is have the click event to view a topic set to the table cell instead of the text.  Can't click anywhere in the firefox window (eg. to change focus) without accidentally opening a thread.  Makes selecting text damn hard too.  Using table-cell-click-events is good for menu's and stuff, not full-screen lists.

The preview button being infront of the submit button

Wouldn't that be a theme "feature" though?

I found from Day One that "last 24 hours" would usually show an accurate list, *minus one*. If there were 5 threads updated, it would show the latest 4 only (at least I think that's what would happen). I'm not sure if it's consistent, but it has happened a lot that I've noticed. :P

Also what's the easy way to say "Link to THIS posting in THIS thread"? I usually look at the view-source and find the "<a name=..." and add that to the URL used for displaying that thread/page.
