Mr. Analog

So, after 40 years, what's your Trek?

Tonnica

TNG with a nod to the earlier Trek movies (see: pre-joystick).

I say STTNG, but who voted Voyager :barf:, there are only a few story lines that I can remember that didn't suck.

Mr. Analog

I voted for Voyager, I can't watch the first few seasons but the writing got really good just when no one was watching (pretty much when DS9 died).

Watch "Year of Hell" (part 1 & 2), that was the episode that changed my mind about the whole series.

The only Trek I own is TOS, Movies 1-7 and Voyager. I'd buy TNG but I have enough channels that show it I can just about watch a 1/4 season every day (if I desired to).

Tom

My faves are TNG and the Original Movies. Nuclear Wessel FTW.

<fry> Say Nuclear Wessels.
<Walter Koenig> No.
<Zapata Prime> I smell Stanley... And he smells good!!!

Adams

I voted voyager... I rather liked it... near the end the last 3 or so seasons where pretty good.
I also liked TNG and DS9 but again DS9 was near the end I started liking it more and TNG was pretty good throughout the series.

Bah... now I will start a flame war. They were still no where close to Babylon 5.  >:D

50% of people who do not want to do things
The rest are all forced to do things."

Weirdly, I see no love for DS9, and I mean considering one of our users has the Defiant as their avatar...  >:D

Heh, yeah "no love" I guess the war-themes were too dark for some of us (or maybe not intelligent enough for Babylon 5 fans? ;) )

And wtf? I am the only one who wasted a precious "vote" on Enterprise? And various fan productions? Perhaps my trekgeek standards are lower than most... But I considered a vote as "any chunk of time was watchable and enjoyable" not "every episode from beginning to end for all seasons was teh r0x0rs" ;)

Yeah, I'm sure the $120 price tag per season has nothing to do with it... ::) ;)

Much like Voyager there where too many REALLY bad time line plots for me to enjoy Enterprise. I have been catching reruns on space and there are good Enterprise episodes, but for me there where too many things that ruined the series.

Mr. Analog

Enterprise just never did it for me, and I watched just about every episode until season three where I just didn't care anymore.

I think you both are anti-andorites! ;)

Many story arcs heavily involving everybody's favorite blue-skin Vulcan-distrusting aliens... Andorians. --> anti-Andorians --> anti-andorite (like anti-semite) ...Sorry, Captain Esoteric strikes again ::)
