Good new for those that actually want one.

Looks like the ebay market is flooded.. There going for between retail and 1000 now.

True, but the funny thing is that supply is still really really low for the PS3, so that would seem to indicate that demand really isn't that high. Well at least demand from those willing to pay over $1000 for one that is.

I think we'll see a price surge in a couple weeks as Xmas comes closer and parents waiting for another shipment realize its near hopeless and turn to the online auctions.

I think it would probably be soon, considering shipping a PS3 in time for Christmas will get harder and harder as time marches into December.
