Dan Tencer gets a ride in an Indy car, then gets pulled over

Dan Tencer got to ride in the backseat of an Indy car a couple of days ago.  He figured he'd get driven around a parking lot and was a bit surprised that the car went out on city streets.  To no one's surprise, of course, a cop pulled the car over.  That led to the best opening line from a cop I've ever heard, "There's no way that's street legal".

Notice the surprise in the cop's voice when the Indy driver hands him proper registration information...  There was no ticket issued and the driver was on his way within a few minutes.

Reminds me of the top gear episode were a formula one team called out the top gear guys when they made a comment about it being too easy just driving around and around.
