Well, if they re-made Deus Ex that would be great and all but wouldn't it be better to make something just as awesome but completely new and unique?

I mean, I'm just as guilty for liking the "same old thing" over and over (my collection of 2D fighting games proves that emphatically) but I quite agree with the sentiment, we need to start pushing boundaries again and trying new things. Drudgery is only fun for so long (unless you play WoW where the reward system encourages drudgery and labels it "fun").

P.S. DD, for you I extremely recommend Half-Life 2 it has everything you want in a setting you'll love plus lots of fun action.
