Well, I know from having lived through it that one of the side effects of anxiety/depression coupled with hypertension was the binge/purge cycle.

A lot of days I just couldn't go out for lunch or I was feeling stomach sickness due to anxiety or when my blood pressure dropped but then later I'd get hungry and eat way too much. Doing this, I gained a lot of weight and picked up some bad eating habits. It's taken a lot of work to get off those bad habits.

3 meals a day and try to watch sodium intake is the mantra now.
