this is very cool. what is everyone elses thoughts on the implications of this surgery?

I wonder if it eventually could help people like me who lack connective tissue. would so love it if my hips and back wouldn't  keep going out of place. I also wonder if scar tissue from the surgery itself may hinder its full potential.

The way they talk about the transplants of hearts and such, maybe the cartilage comes from organ donors?

it may be it also may be transplanted from another part of your own body who knows. any way i thought melbosa may find this interesting in any case. not sure it would help his specific issue though. or how long it will take before its availible for routine use.

im still weary of how complacent we have become about surgery in general and all the risks involved but if the benefit out weighs it...

Hmmm wonder if that could have been a solution for my shoulder, versus the bone block I have now.
